I have spent most of my life on the road, and Somewhere is the result of those experiences. I love cameras, film, but I also love to write. Journaling is an important part of my time: over the years these words, photographs and films have become the most precious things I own. Today we are swamped by digital information, but I find a greater comfort, playing with an old camera or hearing the clickety-clackety sound of my aged typewriter. I want to bring this feeling back into the lives of my friends. Somewhere is about reacquainting ourselves with evocative words and pictures, special times and places. It’s about making and taking the opportunities to build something worthy, maybe with imperfections and torn corners, but real things to pick up throughout our lives to remind us of what truly matters. -Mark
